Intricate Skeleton Design
Regarded as masters in the watchmaking world, Japanese artisans have skillfully arranged the skeletonized components on a classic emerald green dial.
The emerald green color is ideal for those with the Wood element, as it represents green tones. Additionally, it suits individuals with the Fire element, as Wood nurtures Fire, bringing good fortune and abundant wealth to the wearer.
Complementing the emerald green background are Roman numerals at 12 o’clock, coated in PVD gold, making this detail stand out. The other numerals are embossed and direct towards the central hands.
Both the numerals and hands are coated with luminescent paint for visibility in low light conditions.
The arc-shaped section at 12 o’clock displays the current power reserve level. This watch has a 50-hour power reserve, ensuring it continues to function even if worn intermittently.
Opposite the power reserve indicator is a Small Second sub-dial showing the seconds hand.
Adding a touch of playfulness, the Joker’s mischievous smile appears intermittently from 4 o’clock to 8 o’clock, with the Open Heart window at 9 o’clock revealing the inner workings of the watch, including the mainspring and gears.
Durable In-House F6F44 Movement
Inside the Orient Open Heart watch is the F6F44 movement, known for its high precision and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, the highest frequency in Japanese watches. This movement is considered the heart of Japanese watchmaking.
The F6F44 movement is produced in-house by Orient, reflecting the company’s pride. The term “in-house” signifies that the watch is designed, manufactured, and developed entirely within the company.
This in-house movement represents the pinnacle of Orient’s craftsmanship and technology.
Additionally, this watch features 24 jewels, indicating the high value and complexity of the internal mechanism.
